Ronke Oshodi-Oke Hails Iyabo Ojo’s Parenting at Priscilla’s Wedding, Speaks on Tope Alabi’s Family Drama

Actress Ronke Oshodi-Oke has praised fellow Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo for showing maturity and commitment in co-parenting, especially during their daughter Priscilla’s recent wedding.

Speaking during an interview on Oyinmomo TV, Ronke lauded Iyabo for ensuring her ex-husband was included in the ceremony, describing her as a dedicated mother.

“I give kudos to Iyabo Ojo. When Priscilla and her brother were young, she was always going everywhere with them. She is a devoted mother. I now respect her more when I saw Priscilla’s dad at the wedding. I also learnt a lesson from her,” Ronke stated.

She contrasted this with the recent criticism directed at gospel singer Tope Alabi, whose ex-husband was reportedly absent at their daughter’s wedding. Ronke suggested that the decision may have come from the daughter, who is now an adult.

“Don’t let us blame Tope Alabi for not allowing the father of her daughter to be present at her wedding. The girl is 27 years old, maybe she was the one that didn’t want to see her dad. She is an adult. If she really wanted her dad, she would have insisted to her mum,” she added.

Ronke concluded by urging the public not to judge family matters too quickly, stressing that every family situation is different and should be handled with understanding.
